South African company Native Vibes and its subsidiary A Taste of South Africa plans on contributing 10% of its profits to fight the corona virus. The virus has already affected millions of people globally, leaving many unemployed and hungry. The company has committed to provide 10% of income to the crowdfunding platform UpLift-Me, where the platform will equally distribute funds to the various COVID-19 initiatives on the platform.
A Taste of South Africa is a specialist store that sells gift products in a form of a gift tin which contains a selection of items including Rooibos Tea, Coffee, Biltong (Beef Jerky), chocolate coated nut, caramelised nuts and dried fruit aimed at a market that enjoys gifting friends and family.
Founder Nafeesa Vayani emphasized the importance of providing the best quality products. “Our selection of items for the set and tin is of the highest quality, we need people to experience the true flavours and foods of South Africa, I am passionate about South Africa and what we have to offer as a nation.”
