Boksburg based Raeesah Dawood plans to change the way South Africans engage with make up. She will be launching her YouTube channel later this year where she will review products but in a completely different way to how it is currently reviewed in South Africa. “ I am so excited to start my YouTube channel , the concept is something new and was never done before in South Africa, it was inspired by Jeffery Star.” Jeffery Star has over 7.5 Million followers on social media application Instagram alone.
Raeesah at just 18 decided against the conventional career corporate route and instead swapped that for a lifetime in entrepreneurship. She is a fundamental member of the Kolorz team. Where she has already started to innovate and develop the make up industry in South Africa and Africa as a whole.
“ I would like to be seen as one of the biggest and most influential make up artists and influencers in South Africa , I want the biggest influencers in the world to be a part of my story. I want to be the biggest face of the make up industry in Africa and I will get there.” Raeesah’s YouTube channel is said to launch before the end of the year.
